Courses & Expeditions

Ltadventure canoe courses are designed specifically to match the needs of the individual participants.  We can offer everything from introductory canoe skills through to advanced personal performance & leadership training.

Experienced & qualified.  We have been coaching canoe for over 20 yrs.  We first started training staff teams leading canoe expeditions on moving water in 1989.  Since then we have supervised safe & enjoyable canoe expeditions for over 70000 people.  We are qualified to run canoe specific British Canoe Union (BCU) personal performance, coaching courses & UKCC courses.

Best equipment.  Our fleet has been chosen to meet the needs of the developing canoeist.  We use 15′ round hull boats which are ideal for flat water & anything up to class 3/4.  Our boats are bouyant, well equiped & maintained.

Ideal venues.  We are ideally situated near to the Ardeche Gorge in the south of France.  From here we can access flat water to class 3 & above every day of the yr & that in one of the sunniest places in France.  Our courses are flexible with regards to venue.  We will travel to wherever the water is best for you.

We run a variety of multi day expeditions from our southern France base.  Whether it be based in one region e.g. the Tarn or a combination expedition such as Ardeche/Allier.

There is something for all abilities in this area.

Our expeditions can incorporate wild camping in remote & very beautiful locations with campsites, bunk houses or gites.  You tell us the budget & type of trip you are looking at & we will do the rest.

We can tag on BCU performance & leadership awards as well.

Tarps & hammocks are provided on all expeditions, as well as all the specialist canoeing equipment.

For all courses & expeditions we can sort local transport.  You can fly in to a number of local airports & we’ll handle the logistics from there or drive down & we’ll arrange a meeting point.  Contact us for a detailed quote.  We offer group discounts for 4 people or more.

All our trips are covered by our company liability insurance.  You will have to take out personal insurance for medical cover & we would advise insurance for your personal belongings.
