We offer a guiding and outfitting service for people who want to organise their own trip to the south of France e.g. Ardeche, Allier, Tarn, Drome, Southern Alps.

The Ardeche has over 50 boat hire rental companies, but none of them offer traditional open boats. If you want something with a bit more class than a sit on top, please get in touch to discuss your requirements in a bit more detail.

If you fancy organising a trip, but don’t know where to start, if you want information on rivers in the south of France, knowledge of where to get on and off the river, local by-laws about use of fire and paddling times and a whole host of logistical information, then make use of our free Expedition planning service.

Our outfitting fleet consists of 15′ Prospectors – all with kneeling thwarts, 2 seats, painters, front & rear bouyancy blocks.

We also provide paddles, helmets & bouyancy aids.  Our equipment is kept in the best possible condition & is always fit for use.

Participants using our outfitting service need to ensure they have the necessary competence & experience to tackle their planned trip.  Basic outfitting starts at £50 per boat per day, please get in touch for a detailed quote.

Our guiding service is available for all your trips. We would reccomend you use this service, even if you are a competent canoeist.  Our guiding experience is vast & will ensure you get the most out of your trip.  Sit back & enjoy your boating in the safe company of the most experienced & qualified professional guides operating across southern France.

Basic guiding starts at £60 per person per day (min 2 people).  For bookings of 4 people or more we charge a flat fee of £200 per day (max 6 boats).
